What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.

Questionnaire answers: age, sex, height, weight, training experience, goals, weak points, training days, diet preference, allergies and unit preference.

Activity you log: workout sets (exercise, weight, reps), foods and nutrition values, body weight, and the dates of each.

Progress photos, if you choose to add them. These are optional.

Messages you send to the AI coach, questions you ask in the Form tab, and requests to build or edit workouts.

Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as session cookies and server logs.

How we use it

To create your calorie and macro targets, training plan and progress stats; to power AI features you use; to keep you signed in; to send account emails such as password resets; and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads.

AI processing

When you use AI features (coach, meal plans, recipes, workout building, set logging, exercise suggestions), the relevant details — for example your goal, targets, allergies, and the day's logged food and sets — are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Forma currently uses Anthropic's Claude models through the TeamoRouter service. Progress photos are not sent to AI.

Service providers

Floot (app hosting, database, file storage and email), TeamoRouter and Anthropic (AI responses), Open Food Facts (food and barcode lookups — only the barcode or search text is sent), and YouTube/Google (exercise video search — only the search text is sent; videos you play are served by YouTube under its own privacy policy).

Subscriptions: payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see your card details. RevenueCat manages subscription status for us; it receives a random account ID (not your name or email) and your purchase and renewal history.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Progress photos

Photos are stored privately and are only viewable through your signed-in account, using short-lived links. You can delete any photo at any time, and all photos are deleted when you delete your account.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. You can edit your details in Settings and permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete my account. Backups may take up to 30 days to clear.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under BC's PIPA, Canada's PIPEDA, or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information and to withdraw consent. Contact us at info@formalifestyle.ca.

Age

Forma is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and note the date above. For significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email.
